Mon. May 29

I finished reading the Kuhn book yesterday and wrote my review of it. It's been a while since I've had to write a paper. It took a little while to get back into it. Also, not the best book to be starting with. Not the easiest to read. I think I got the basics out if, about the whole process of discovery and how that applies to society/community. However, I feel that the point could have been made in a more clear way. I feel Kuhn is a very intelligent man and very knowledgable of his field, but he was very complex and technical in his writing. I got the impression that the book was geared more toward his colleagues than anything else. And that very well might have been his purpose, but, in my opinion, for the person not well versed in the science community, it was a difficult reading. Anyway, that's my take on it. Time to try to do some reading now.

Sat. May 27

It's been a busy week. I haven't had a chance to post anything, let alone do too much work of any kind for classes this week. Reading essays and updating grades took most of my free time. Now all I have to do is check notebook this weekend and record a few grades, then my grades will pretty much be done. IT'S ABOUT TIME. Then I will finally be able to focus all of my energy on getting more organized for these classes so completing the work is much easier. I will also have more to time to look for a job. Still gotta pay the bills. Time to go read some more. YAY.

May23 Entry

I'm slowly getting the hang of everything that involved with the classes this semester. With the school almost over at work, I will be able to focus all of my attention on the work for these classes...which means I might actually have time to read the books!!! I'm looking forward to being able to do that so that all of the stuff that I'm doing on the computer makes more sense to me. I'm excited about all of the new things that I will be learning this semester - if I am able to find a teaching job, I will be able to apply so much to I've learned to my teaching. If I don't, I hope I'm able to find something that will pay the bills until graduation.

2nd Day of Blogging

This is my second day of blogging and my second posting. I must say that initially I was very overwhelmed by this whole process. I can manage on a computer, but nothing fancy. But the more I've played around with this, the more easy it is getting. I guess that's a good thing. :-) Now I just need to have the postman bring me the rest of my books and then find the time to start reading them. I must say that I agreed with the first point mentioned in the first podcast for LS2600...TMI - too much information or as I would refere to it, homework overload.

Bloggs....AAAHHH!!!

This is my first attempt at this, and the more I try to figure out, the more confused I become. After previewing some of the other blogs that have already been posted, I don't know what I'm doing wrong or not finding here. All of this is so overwhelming - so much, so fast. Hopefully, this all works out and I can figure out how to add something other than this posting to my blog.
